June 20, 2022 | Let's party! Come celebrate the opening of all 5 parking lot tenants with us at our Parking Lot Grand Opening Party on Thursday, June 23 from 4pm-7pm! We'll have food samples from the 4 new eatery tenants, face painting, balloon twisting and at 5:30pm we'll be handing out over 200 gift cards to the new tenants! See all event details here.

June 14, 2022 | Pancheros opens for business! Pancheros is the last tenant to open of the five parking lot additions also including Blaze Pizza, Chick-fil-A, Five Guys and Thrifty White. We are so excited all the tenants are now open and customers can enjoy every option along 3rd Street! Join us next Thursday, June 23 for a parking lot party to celebrate all these new tenants. June 13, 2022 | Thrifty White hosted a ribbon cutting this morning and they are officially open! You can now visit your newest pharmacy in our west parking lot along 3rd Street. Next to open (and the last in our parking lot additions) is Pancheros tomorrow, June 14!

June 9, 2022 | Thrifty White Pharmacy is the next parking lot tenant set to open! Mark your calendars for Monday, June 13 for their opening date! Last up - Pancheros {stay tuned for an opening date VERY SOON!}.

May 23, 2022 | The Pancheros sign is up! Get ready for your favorite burritos and chips + queso on the south side of Bismarck! We'll be able to share an opening date soon.

April 26, 2022 | Blaze Pizza Opens! Customers can now enjoy their custom, made-to-order pizzas that are blaze-fired in 180 seconds. Next up - Pancheros and Thrifty White Pharmacy!

April 5, 2022 | Five Guys opens! You can now enjoy their delicious burgers and iconic fries .. and don't forget a milkshake! Blaze Pizza will open in the coming weeks.

March 2022 | The sign is up at Five Guys and the inside is starting to take shape into their iconic red-and-white checkered aesthetic! We'll have an opening date for them SOON! Blaze Pizza, Panchero's and Thrifty White will be following closely behing the opening of Five Guys.

January 2022 | The scaffolding is down on outside the Blaze Pizza/Five Guys building and we got a sneak peek at the construction inside. We can't wait for fire-blazed pizza and burgers from these eateries!

January 2022 | Construction is moving quickly on the Blaze Pizza/Five Guys and Pancheros/Thrifty White buildings! We'll be able to share opening dates and more progress photos SOON.

December 2021 | Chick-fil-A opened on December 2nd, 2021! The community can now enjoy spicy chicken sandwiches, waffle fries and that savory Chick-fil-A sauce at their location on S 3rd St. Construction continues for Blaze Pizza, Five Guys, Pancheros and Thrifty White Pharmacy, with projected opening dates in the first part of 2023.

October 2021 | Chick-fil-A is really starting to take shape as the building exterior is almost finished, double drive-thru canopies are installed and asphalt for the parking lot is poured! The other two buildings are moving along quickly as the exterior framing is going up for both. Before you know it, they'll all be open! Chick-fil-A will open this year, with the other 4 opening in early 2022.

September 2021 | BIG THINGS are happening! The concrete footings are poured for the Blaze Pizza/Five Guys and Panchero's/Thrifty White buildings along with the Chick-fil-A building walls all up! Pssst .. Both the Blaze Pizza/Five Guys and Panchero's/Thrifty White buildings will have an outdoor patio AND drive-thru/pick-up elements!

September 2021 | The walls for Chick-fil-A are going up! Chick-fil-A will be the first of the five parking lot tenants to open, with an expected opening date in late 2021.

August 2021 | If you haven't driven down 3rd Street lately, the entire parking lot is a construction zone (see below)! Construction has begun on all FIVE parking lot additions - Chick-fil-A, Thrifty White Pharmacy, Panchero's, Blaze Pizza and Five Guys.

July 2021 | The asphalt is poured for Chick-fil-A and soon to follow .. a BUILDING! It is confirmed that Chick-fil-A will be opening in 2021!! Next you'll see the fence go up for the construction of Blaze Pizza, Five Guys, Panchero's and Thrifty White Pharmacy. We're making moves!!

June 2021 | We are so excited to announce two new tenants that will be joining the outparcel redevelopment - Pancheros Mexican Grill and Thrifty White Pharmacy, in addition to the previously announced tenants Chick-fil-A, Blaze Pizza and Five Guys. June 2021 | The fence is up, equipment is on site and construction has begun on the first phase of the redevelopment! Be sure to drive by 3rd Street over the next few months to stay up-to-date .. more progress is happening every day! We can't wait to see all they accomplish in the coming months and look forward to all the chicken sandwiches, pizza and burgers in our future!

June 2021 | We have officially broken ground on construction for the redevelopment! Thank you to the Bismarck Mandan Chamber EDC for helping us commemorate the start of the construction for Chick-fil-A, Blaze Pizza and Five Guys. You can now drive along 3rd Street and see all the action taking place! We can't wait to see all the changes in the coming months.

April 2021 | Keep an eye out when you drive along 3rd Street as construction will begin again soon as the ground thaws! Psst .. we have a few more exciting additions to the redevelopment that we will announce SOON!

This phase of the redevelopment consists of 3 buildings being added to the outer parking lot along 3rd Street, in line with the Caribou/Einstein Bagels + Verizon outparcel building. This is where Chick-fil-A, Blaze Pizza, Five Guys {and a few others .. eek!} will be located.

August 2020 | Trucks arrive to begin prep work for the outparcel development along 3rd Street! More work will continue in the spring of 2021. We'll keep you updated on the progress!

February 2020 | CBL Properties today announced the first phase of redevelopment plans for the former Herberger’s department store building at Kirkwood Mall in Bismarck, North Dakota. Kirkwood Mall will welcome three fast casual restaurants, including Five Guys as well as new-to-market Blaze Pizza and Chick-fil-A. Read the entire press release here.
